Keynote Address:
"Where is the WEC in WAC?: A Review of Successful Practices and Some Useful Maxims," by Dr. Kathleen Blake Yancey

About the keynote speaker: Dr. Yancey, the Kellogg W. Hunt Professor of English and Director of the graduate program in Rhetoric and Composition at Florida State University, and past president of both the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE), and Conference on College Composition and Communication (CCCC), has authored, edited, or co-edited ten scholarly books and two textbooks as well as over 65 articles and book chapters on issues related to literacy, writing pedagogy, and assessment.

 
Moderated by Will Durfee, Chair of Campus Writing Board, and intended to generate discussion about future models of writing instruction within University departments and disciplines.
